Catholicism is 2000 years old religion founded by Jesus Christ. It is sad that a college student attending a Catholic university does not know that. However, maybe she knows that there are real sects like satanism. Or would she call it a "religion" instead?
Once I have heard on Relevant Radio father Corapi's recorded speech. He told a real story. If I recall the name correctly, it was about bishop F.Sheen, traveling on an airplane. He did not take his lunch from the fly attendant saying that he is fasting. Next to him was sitting a woman who did not want her lunch either. He asked her if she is a Catholic too. She replied: "No, I am a witch." and she explained that she is fasting for abortions. God gave us a command that we shall not kill. Those who do, worship devil if they are aware of it or not. But I believe that love wins and God will find the way into most human hearts and change them. Sooner or later. Lauren, I pray for your conversion and for those like you.

Hey, Lauren, no problem. BTW, I went to Loyola as well. Interestingly, I really got into my faith there. I learned a lot there. There aren't sects of Catholicism though. It's all one faith. Just thought I'd clarify.

As Loyola Chicago alums, and a Loyola Chicago student myself, you do understand that not everyone that goes to Loyola is Catholic as well as fitting your narrow conservative view of what it means to be Catholic. Jesuits in general often divert with a lot more tolerance than other sects of Catholicism. Using CNS News as a source shows a lot of imprudent research on your part as they are an arm of the Republican party.
