Consolation in the Resurrection

— Posted by John (April 18, 2006 at 8:15 am)

The Risen Christ

We as pro-lifers take special consolation in the celebration of Jesus’ Resurrection from the dead. Not only is it the central event of our faith life, but it also provides us with great encouragement in our ongoing battle against abortion.

By conquering death, Jesus has also conquered abortion. Because of this, we know that the outcome of the struggle that we carry on, this seemingly endless conflict between life and death, has already been decided.

We have, so to speak, been allowed to read the book’s final chapter before we actually get to it. We know that in the end, Life will be victorious.

From time to time, all of us need to remind ourselves of this, lest we lose heart.

Jesus conquered abortion.. how? Not well “through life”, but directly.. How did Jesus conquer abortion directly? and dare i say dont you dare attribute your feelings to the son of God.

  2. John says:

By Jesus’ Resurrection, He has redeemed us from sin and given us the chance to share in eternal life. In this sense, He has conquered death — all forms of death, including abortion — which is a consequence of sin.

I think your hypocrisy and arrogance in your faith is also a consequence of sin:).
