Her name is Beatrice Adelaide Rose, it's a mouthfull but they are going to call her BB. She was a little pink when she was born, but she turned a nice bronze color really quick. I always thought they were pinkish for a while. The experience did make me realize that I don't want a lot of people there at mine, it was chaos. I can't wait though, I just want to hold mine.

CC,
I know, I was only 6lbs 10oz!

Oh Rosie,

That's wonderful!!! What is her name? All too soon it will be your turn! The last months are hard because they take FOREVER, but before you know it, you'll be standing over your own bassinet in the middle of the night, weeping for no other reason than the wonder of it all. Checking to see if she is still breathing, leaning down just to get her smell, and looking at your husband as if he was the greatest man in the world for giving you this precious gift...Of course, you'll also smell like spit-up, forget what brushing your hair is like and give up hot food...but, still...
congratulations to you and your sister. I sure hope she likes the color pink...

Yeah!!! my sister in-law had a baby girl tonight! 8.8 lbs 20 inches! This is girl number 5! It was really funny, the midwife got there, had me get some bags from her car, and by the time I got back in the house the baby had already been born! I never realized how soft their skin is.
