Cemetery for the Innocents at ASU

— Posted by Annie (February 9, 2007 at 1:46 pm)

ASU Pro-Life GroupCatherine from Arizona State University contacted us two months ago about doing a Cemetery for the Innocents on the school’s campus. She e-mailed back a few weeks ago and the project was a great success! Her is what she had to say:

I just wanted to let you know that we were able to borrow more than 500 white crosses from Children of The Rosary of Phoenix to set up a Cemetery for The Innocents at Arizona State University. Our club, the Network of Enlightened Women, joined with the Students for Life to man tables in front of the display. One of the pro-choice organizations on campus had a table on the other lawn (but no display). Many students who passed thanked us for taking a stand, there were a couple snide comments in passing, and other small things done to try to demoralize us, but nothing big.

The day after the display, our campus newspaper covered it on the front page!

Thank you so much for all your help!!

Below are some pictures of the display (click on a picture to see a larger version).
