Gotta love their sly wording;

"People who are pro-choice believe that women have the right to decide when and whether to have children"

no, pro-choice means you believe it's socially and legally acceptable to kill an unborn human being.
Last time I checked pro-lifers were not forcing women into motherhood, we just don't want the unborn to be killed.
You can relinquish your job as a parent anytime after the child is born.

"They also disagree with most medical authorities about the definition of pregnancy"

What? Pregnancy occurs when offspring is developing in the body; who is disagreeing with this?

"They mistakenly believe that pregnancy begins with the fertilization of the egg"

It does http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/pregnant

"Most authorities believe that pregnancy begins when the implantation of the fertilized egg into the lining of the uterus is complete."

Who is "most authorities"? Anyone can make an argument like that but it means jack unless you have proof, and by proof I don't mean PP abortionists

How about this one?

http://www.teenwire.com/ask/2007/as-20070216p1444-prenatal.php

You want prenatal care??? We don't DO that...but we do abortions!!!

Or the True Tales of a Teen Mom..."my baby is such a hassle. I'm fat. I don't think things are going to work out with my boyfriend. I don't get to party all night." Actually, here's the quote: ""I used to go out all of the time and stay out all night," she says."

This site is ridiculous.

I still don't understand how the medical community can, in good conscience, just up and change the definition of when life begins. What does implantation have to do with anything! Why not just change it to when the placenta takes over (at about 6 weeks) or some even later date. That would make it even easier for them to say it's not a life. I mean if your going to change definitions, make it fit your agenda!

Just to alert everyone, this is a different (far different) Lauren than we all know and "love?". Her comment confused me because it was so "un"Lauren, so I blogged her. For a minute I thought Our Lauren had come to her senses, but alas, this is a new Lauren.

Hi new Lauren. Welcome.

"They also disagree with most medical authorities about the definition of pregnancy. They mistakenly believe that pregnancy begins with the fertilization of the egg. Most authorities believe that pregnancy begins when the implantation of the fertilized egg into the lining of the uterus is complete."

So if planned parenthood agrees or "admits" that life begins when the egg implants, (which is about 6-8 days after fertilization) then it is also saying that it is okay to take that life anyway. Which would mean that they are ant-life and we are pro-life. Again, where are the choice people when it comes to seat belts, trans-fats, smoking and the "Cancer" vaccine. Those people are just so confused.

A survey on their site seems to indicate that they are branching out to "Myspace" and "Facebook". Gotta spread the word to their young, impressionable base.
