How to Talk about Abortion
— Posted by John (March 19, 2007 at 3:57 pm)

Have you ever gotten into a discussion with someone about abortion and found yourself unsure what to say?
I know I have.
Knowing how to respond to the most common pro-abortion arguments is something every pro-lifer should be able to do. And it’s probably easier than you think.
This is what I’ll be explaining in a talk called “Defending Human Life Principles in a Modern Society” I’ll be giving next Friday, March 30, at St. Joseph Church in Joliet, IL.
It’s a talk intended for eighth grade students at Catholic schools in the Joliet Diocese, but anyone of any age from the general public — that means you! — is also welcome to attend:
Friday, March 30, from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.
Historic St. Joseph Church
416 N. Chicago Street, Joliet, IL
You can find directions to the church here.
I’m looking forward to giving this talk, since it will be my first time visiting this beautiful church:

John,
There’s also a great book out there which teaches Pro-Lifers how to answer all the Pro-Abortion arguments. It’s a thin book and easy to read. It’s called “On Message” by Mark Crutcher…

Quote of the Day…
I was just listening to Jason Evert speak on Catholic Answers Live on the audio archives from 3-16-07 and at the end of his talk he stated…
If women had a sun-roof on their womb, abortion would be abolished overnight.
Oh, how true if woman could see their baby in the womb through a sunroof (or 4D) moving around 24/7, Abortion Would Be Over!!!

[...] I mentioned in a couple of previous posts about the pro-life talk I gave to a group of junior high students last month in Joliet, IL.
