From the article:
According to Planned Parenthood’s petition, it says Aurora doesn’t have a legal basis for blocking the center’s planned opening, and “its revocation of a temporary operating permit is motivated solely by political opposition to the constitutionally protected right to abortion services.”
In other words: Abortion is a trump card that overrides any other concerns. Because we provide abortions, you must simply allow us to do whatever we want. Don’t ask any questions, don’t look for any additional evidence … just let us kill children! The Supreme Court said that killing children is a Constitutional right, so you have to shut up now!
Ironically, gun ownership is actually protected in the Constitution (in black-and-white, not in “penumbras” of the “living” Constitution), yet gun stores still have to comply with a blizzard of regulations and governmental oversight. Just because something is a right doesn’t mean that it can’t be regulated. Except abortion, I guess….

rosie says:
“The protest should be at Edward Hospital. Without a hospital to sign on as a Partner; they could not perform abortions. Edward Hospital has signed on to be a partner; and they should know that is unacceptable. They should be protested to remind them that they are to save lives and not participate in taking innocent lives.”
Tell me it ain’t so!
