"Just thought Id let you know that just because you are completely oblivious to the fact that if you had been aborted, you would not be here"

hahah omg, really omg ! thanks for letting me know that.. I also don't think I would know I ever existed but you know whatever. If this is your pro-life argument, it's great. I hope you guys keep using it because it sounds absolutely ridiculous.

Conversion to what? Irrationality? To believe in something I've never seen or felt? No thanks. I don't want to waste my life on something that may not even exist. if there is a God, I really think he wants me to use my brain and not believe in virgin births, talking bushes, and the other nonsense religion promulgates.

From Bill Maher's When You Ride Alone...

"People say 'I'm a Christian' the way certain politicians say 'I have integrity' like we're all suppsed to be impressed and back off and keel down to that almighty testament to naivete and hypocrisy. When people brag that they have religious faith, I hear 'stupidity'. Faith is saying, 'I will ignore my God-give fifts for discerning reality and instead throw my lot in with blind belief in something that was forced into my head before I could even think.
...
Christianity and Islam both have strict bans on any sort of questioning of the religion itself-or as the wizard once put it, 'Pay on attention to the man behind the curtain!' In the Bible it's 'Don't eat from the Tree of Knowledge,' but the meaning is the same: 'The stuff we're telling you is going to seem crazy, but just buy it.
Imagine being able to sell any other product like that-by insisting the customer swallow every word you spoke about it as gospel or else burn in hell. Where you, as the customer, having been brainwashed from birth about the superiority of the prodcut, upon reaching thinking age, forfeit the benefits of the prodcut if you doubt it in any way, and the claims of the product cannot be tested until after you're dead.
...
My personal savior is common sense. And as far as God goes, I prefer to believe in one that would want me to use the excellent brain he gave us all."

I love Bill Maher. and with that, I pray that you cross over to our side. We love free-thinking individuals! Humanists, rationalists, come with us! I'm praying for you!

Hey Lauren, me again... Just thought Id let you know that just because you are completely oblivious to the fact that if you had been aborted, you would not be here, doesn't mean that the rest of us don't care about life. You can talk all you want but just remember that we are all praying for you, and for your conversion. I know you don't care what I have to say, but I thought you might like to feel the grace that is sent to you from each and every one of our prayers.
 God Bless

Thanks for posting this article, John! I bet there will be a total media blackout about the 40 Days vigil and its effects, even when the abortion mills start closing all over the nation.

I might be able to make it to the one in Dalles.

"It’s sick to exploit a person who can’t even speak for themselves"

When taken out of context, this statement sounds rather pro-life...

I wish I could come out tonight to Aurora.. unfortunately I have class at 415 which sticks.. Go planned parenthood and pro-choice people from all over the state!

Father Frank Pavone---the same guy who exploited the Schiavo debacle.. hey guess what there are thousands of people all over the world starving that would love a feeding tube.. why not focus on them and leave that poor family alone!!!!! It's sick to exploit a person who can't even speak for themselves for political means
