Does anyone ever listen to the youth about these things? 'Cause I can tell you that most of the kids I know would prefer abstinence-only education.

Umm... Lauren, that's not really what this post is about...

Umm. and I come from a pretty well-off family and I don't vote for anyone to put money in my pocket, although I do believe student loans should be more accessible and college more affordable. I vote for a fair and progressive tax system. Are you really that greedy?

I vote my values. My values are different than yours. Are you really to arrogant enough to believe that your values are supreme to all others?

Earth to Lauren!

The difference between "values voters" and the rest who you allege vote based on a set of values is that "values voters" actually have a hard core set of values that their vote is based upon.

The rest just vote for the guy they find the most likeable and who they believe might put more money in their pocket (through taxing the "rich" or giving tax cuts to the...."not rich").

Social conservatives should grow up. If they want to rally around somebody, why don’t try that? Huckabee needs support and money now. If the social conservatives are half as important as they think they are, they would rally around one of these people [..] And then decide what you care about. If you care about judges, then you’re gonna get satisfied by Giuliani, then get in line and play politics. But there’s a vanity in this group right now. They call themselves “values voters.” I’ve news for them: 100% of the American electorate are values voters; they vote their values…And this, this, kind of semantic imperialism that they have where they say “we vote values”. Everyone else votes what?--- George Will said this today i liked it.
