Become a “Lifeguard”

— Posted by John (November 5, 2007 at 3:53 pm)

Bella

Last week we got an e-mail from Elizabeth, who is working on a project called Bella for Life. She writes:

We are using the movie Bella as a catalyst to raise awareness to the pro-life movement and the need for people to step up and become “lifeguards” to women in troubled pregnancies and their unborn babies.

The way it works is people contact Bella for Life, pledging to become a “lifeguard”. We then contact the Crisis Pregnancy Center in their area, letting them know of the volunteer(s). Then we exchange their contact information, helping them to create a time for volunteering.

Great idea!

There’s more information on how to become a “lifeguard” here.
