Don’t Shop at Abercrombie & Fitch

— Posted by John (December 7, 2007 at 11:57 am)

As you do your Christmas shopping, do yourself a favor and don’t buy anything from Abercrombie & Fitch.

This morning we got an an e-mail telling us about some of their new T-shirts.

One has the message, “Make love not babies”, and another has the message, “Awkward mornings beat boring nights”.

This isn’t the first time they’ve gotten themselves in trouble, and it probably won’t be the last.

Finally, something we can agree on. A&F likes either controversy that comes with headlines or alienating every possible interest group. I’m not sure. http://www.toledoblade.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20051105/ART04/511050396

    Feminists aren’t a fan of A&F either.

Besides their clothing isn’t that great anyways.. One of my best friends and I bought jeans repeatedly from them and each pair got the same hole, right under the left back pocket. Their clothing is outrageously expensive and crappily made.

I’ve never bought one A&F item and never plan to, but still, thanks for the alert. So degrading…!

Do they give money to PP like Starbuck’s, Sears, or Whole foods?
I’m running out of places to shop.

So what the heck is wrong with you guys? I am a Christian and I think those shirts are funny. And if you must find a cause, at least make it something worthwile that will truly change the world!

It’s so sad! Especially if this reflects the culture. Luckily I don’t think it does completely. There is much out there still to fight, but I think people’s hearts are changing to embrace life and love, real love. Love that is pure.
