I would encourage everyone to listen online to Jason Evert speak to High Schools students on Chastity Education...

http://www.pureloveclub.com/seminars/index.php?id=3

If you can't listen to the entire talk, make sure to fast forward to the 1:00 (one hour) mark of the talk and listen for 10 minutes as Jason reveals some unbelievable data on std's.

If a girl doesn't have a voice to stick up for herself and if she has to DEMAND that her man BACK OFF, there is a deeper problem in their relationship. Anyway, they published me online.

Nikolia,

Thanks for posting this.

There's also this gem, which follows the excerpt you cited:

"Young women need to be able to tell their guys to back off until they slip into something that, in the end, will make them both a lot more comfortable.

And maybe even keep them alive."

Maybe even keep them alive?

Maybe?

Maybe?!

What a ringing endorsement for condoms, eh?

She might as well have said, "Use condoms and you might not get a potentially deadly STD!"

Reading something like this makes me want to do this.

what on earth...the Chicago Trib has done it again: http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/opinion/columnists/chi-trice_submar17,0,3977.column

And the real kicker:

"You're thinking: Why not just teach abstinence only? Well, that works best for teens living in bamboo huts on remote islands without TV sets or the Internet."

Because clearly, anyone living outside a bamboo hut will have sex. I'm writing her a note and will post her response as a comment (if she responds).

Very interesting. I've heard this before, but it never hurts to be reminded. The illogic of our culture just amazes me at times! Pushing every faith or moral based argument aside, abstinence and chastity still rise far above all other forms of "safer sex" when it comes to staying healthy. It just makes sense!

God bless!
