The Latest from Planned Parenthood

— Posted by John (July 29, 2008 at 7:34 am)

We’ve heard before how bad Teenwire is. Now, Planned Parenthood has a new website aimed at teens, and American Life League looks at it in the latest ALL Report.

Use your own good judgment to decide if you want to watch the ALL Report, and keep in mind ALL’s disclaimer:

While our report does NOT present the nasty stuff, please use great discretion when viewing the contents of the site, and be sure not to watch any of the videos with kids around.

For those in the “pro-choice” movement, all they have to say about how to prevent STDs is: Use condoms. That’s all they have to say because it’s all they can say, and it’s all they can say because they believe it’s unrealistic to expect anyone—especially teens—from practicing self-control and chastity.

And yet we know that’s not true.

I just read an article about the recent World Youth Day in Sydney, and this paragraph jumped out at me:

Then the pilgrims came. The winter weather turned heavenly — one blue day after another. And the crowds of youths weren’t quite the kind party-mad “Sinny” is used to. They were happy, patient, peaceable. They sang hymns and waved flags. When protesters threw condoms at them, they called, “Jesus loves you, too.”

This is one of clearest examples of the huge contrast between the pro-life movement and the “pro-choice” movement: one is about life, hope, and self-giving love.

The other—well, isn’t.

I call heaven and earth today to witness against you: I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. Choose life, then, that you and your descendants may live, by loving the LORD, your God, heeding his voice, and holding fast to him. (Deuteronomy 30:19)

Planned Parenthood’s website looks disgusting and crude. Who would have thought? Seriously though, just from looking at the ALL report it’s obvious that the website is what the title proports it to be. More reason to defund planned parenthood from our tax dollars.

Gosh, THAT happened at World Youth Day? It takes a lot of strength of character and faith for the pilgrims to give such a selfless and peace-loving response. I feel so proud of them. What a shining example of our Lord’s humility. (Frankly, I’m not sure if I could have been just as non-confrontational if that happened to me)
