TeenSpeak 2009 a Great Success

As many of you already know, TeenSpeak 2009 was a great success! We had over 120 teens and adults participate in a day filled with eye-opening and informative talks, testimonies, workshops, activities, and videos.
We started off with a very moving testimony from Dr. Alveda King - the niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Then my co-worker John Jansen gave a beautiful presentation of the Pro-Life Action League’s new pro-life handbook, Sharing the Pro-Life Message. (By the way, if you were unable to attend TeenSpeak, you can get a free copy of the handbook here.)
After lunch, Bryan Kemper from Stand True Ministries gave his testimony of how he got into the pro-life movement. He motivated the teens to not just say “I’m pro-life” and let it end there. Actions speak louder than words!
The day ended with a poster making contest which was great fun. Many of the teen groups came up with some awesome signs.
You can see pictures from TeenSpeak here. We’ll be posting the winning essays from the TeenSpeak Essay Contest later this week.

Hello:
My question is: Why are Right-To-Lifers so into killing already born life? They shot and killed a doctor near my home in Pensacola, Florida. They support the death penalty. And they supported a professional killer for president and an amateaur killer for vice president. (John McCain was a professional fighter pilot and Sarah Palin kills animals for sport)
I support our military and their decisions. However, I also know that fighter pilots kill people as part of their job.
I don’t know any Right-To-Lifers personally and thought maybe I could get some input from you on-line. Thanks for taking the time to read my question. It would helpful to get your input on this.
Thanks.
