Pro-Life Day of Silent Solidarity 2009

— Posted by John (September 30, 2009 at 10:57 am)

Tuesday, October 20 is the sixth annual Pro-Life Day of Silent Solidarity.

For one day, people all over the world will give up their voices in solidarity with babies who have had their voices silenced by abortion.

It’s still nearly three weeks away, but already, students from over 2,200 schools—along with over 130 homeschools, over 50 businesses & ministries, and over 600 individuals/non-students—in 21 countries have registered to participate!

Are you willing to give up your voice for a day for those who will never have a voice?

For more information and to register, go here.

**UPDATE**

I just got some additional information from Bryan Kemper of Stand True — which is sponsoring the event — about a PLDSS video contest:

We already have a couple of cool videos for the 2009 Pro-life Day of Silent Solidarity, but we want to flood You Tube and Facebook with videos promoting the event.

Here is the current official video made by Haley King.

The contest:

Produce a short video promoting the 2009 Pro-life Day of Silent Solidarity.

The video should be between 1 – 4 minutes long.

The video should clearly show what and when the PLDSS is.

The Video must have the web site www.silentday.org at the end

The winners:

We will pick three winners who will all receive a free PLDSS T-shirt, Hoodie and 3 other Stand True shirts of their choice.
